The satchel - The prototypes

The satchel - The need
The satchel - The design

Getting an idea out of your head and into reality is like magic! But to do that, you have to go through the prototyping stage.

The aim? To remain as faithful as possible to the original idea, while knowing that the real challenges lie in the finishing touches. And there was no shortage of them!

First step: choosing a manufacturer. We chose someone who knew a lot about binders, so we could benefit from their expertise in the field, and quickly learn and understand the criteria and needs of the industry. The first models met with (almost) unanimous approval: sturdy, even when packed to the gills. Expandable pockets? A real success right from the start! There were still two points to work on: the structure of the schoolbag, and the flap, which was a real headache!

Then we had them tested by the youngest (and probably most ruthless) testers: our customers' children. The slightest risk of a finger caught in the clips or hair caught in the zippers was an opportunity to improve the prototype again and again.

“We added little tabs to the ends of the fastening system. Now it's a duo of zip and snap that ensures good security and avoids any unforeseen circumstances.”

And let's not forget the materials! Tests have been carried out to ensure that they comply fully with European standards and, above all, are ultra-resistant. Our schoolbags are made from 100% recycled polyester.

What's more, we've reinforced the rubbing zones, which are put to the toughest test in children's daily lives, with ballistic material worthy of military equipment.

In short, after a few adjustments (and a little sweat), we're proud to present a schoolbag that's not only practical, but also durable and customizable.
